Best Small Recruitment Business & Best Marketing Campaign 2013

ScienTec Consulting has been commended in the categories of Best Small Recruitment Business and Best Marketing Campaign at the Global Recruiter Asia Pacific Awards 2013.

For the former, it was ScienTec Consulting’s second win in as many years. It was in recognition of their great customer service and candidate experience, community involvement, and clear quantifiable business success. ScienTec Consulting’s CEO, Ms Karen Tok said, “We bring an instinctively collaborative approach to understanding an organisation’s human capital needs, and ensuring consistent alignment to strategic imperatives and values. This alignment has resulted in many successful teaming projects with in-house corporate HR to seek game-changing professionals who are capable of thriving in their corporate culture.

“While the industry wrestled with important blue chip facilities closing down in Singapore, we managed to sustain profitability by increasing internal efficiency, winning new regional corporate expansions and diversifying the recruitment business. We also increased our retained and contingency client portfolio by signing on more than 50 new businesses.”

For the Best Marketing Campaign award, it was ScienTec Consulting’s work for one of the most popular multinational fashion retail brands in Singapore that caught the eye of the judges at Global Recruiter. Tasked with doubling the existing operational footprint and sales force of their client by filling 100 vacancies in less than a month, ScienTec Consulting executed a two-week campaign that covered multiple channels; print advertising to generate mass awareness of the co-branding project, calibrated calls-to-action on Facebook targeting the desired demographic and interest groups, and directly interfacing with the talent pool on hosted forum threads as well as via face-to-face recruitment drives on the street.

“Although fashion retail was not one of our core industries, we took it as a challenge and exceeded our client’s expectations. The campaign that we conducted resulted in leads generation of more than 300 per cent, with referrals bringing in 10 per cent of the total leads. On-street recruitment contributed to 60 per cent of the most qualified candidates and in three weeks, we exceeded the desired quota by 10 per cent,” said Tok.

With these two awards, ScienTec Consulting’s dynamic team of recruitment professionals once again proved their ability to deliver business and service excellence.
